Happiness indication between India and Pakistan

There is no definitive way to measure happiness, as it is a subjective feeling that can vary from person to person. However, there are some indicators that can give us an idea of the general level of happiness in a country. Here are a few factors that may contribute to happiness levels in India and Pakistan:

  1. Gross National Happiness (GNH): The concept of GNH was developed by the Kingdom of Bhutan as an alternative to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as a measure of a country's progress. Neither India nor Pakistan officially measures GNH, but there have been efforts to introduce this concept in both countries.

  2. World Happiness Report: The World Happiness Report ranks countries based on various factors that contribute to happiness, including GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity, and perceptions of corruption. In the 2021 report, India was ranked 139 out of 149 countries, while Pakistan was ranked 105.

  3. Happiness surveys: There have been several surveys conducted to measure happiness levels in India and Pakistan. While the results of these surveys can vary, in general, they indicate that people in both countries face a number of challenges that can impact their happiness, including poverty, unemployment, and social and political instability.

Overall, it is difficult to make a direct comparison between the happiness levels in India and Pakistan. Both countries face a range of challenges that can impact their citizens' happiness, and the factors that contribute to happiness are complex and multifaceted.
